My grandfather was a painter for fun – he used to paint all subjects, from trains to people to silly cartoons. Some of my favorite art of his was his landscapes – often made up from memory or of places he’d never been. He painted snowy seasons, rolling hills, sunsets, and farms. He taught my sister and I to draw, and encouraged us to be creative: I credit my artistic ability to him.
Landscapes have always been part of the art in our household, and now they can be a part of yours, too. We’ve gathered up a handful of colorful places to dot your walls – not too big, not too bold, but still dreamlike and desirable. These are all originals, and support the “little guy” – take a look, and add these artful environments to your walls.
