You've Got That Glow
Holophane pendant lightsadd an ephemeral warmth
I bought these vintage glass holophane lights at the Paris Flea Market without a project to house them. Thankfully, they blend right into this Austin, TX kitchen, which is fitting: these lights - with their industrial origins – seem to have a universal appeal.
Some of our favorite manufacturers have crafted re-edition halophanes: the convenience of new, but with the same pressed glass appeal. All these lights seem to sparkle when off, and glow when illuminated. I suggest EDISON bulbs for the warmest look, or 2700K dimmable LED bulbs, for more usable and still dimmable light. Add a few of these halophanes to your space – they’re the brightest bulbs in the bunch!
