While I found this vintage pine table near my house on the North Fork, Sarah on my team added the little stoneware lamp on top. Just a little guy, it adds a quiet scale play to a corner of this Austin, TX kitchen.

Small lamps – especially of unique materials like these stoneware finds – are great to dress up and light up unexpected places. I’ve used them on shelves, on dressing tables and kitchen counters. I like them with white, off white, or natural paper shades (never linen). Don’t be afraid to love the lamp and toss the shade for a new one – I do it all the time. It’s a quick fix to turn up the wattage on these lamps and light up your space with extra presence.
