SPECIAL FEATURE : MEN OF MENSWEAR
Men of Menswear You're gonna like the way you look. We guarantee it.**

Fashion and interiors have always influenced each other. It’s a symbiotic relationship that can be summed up by the following sentiment — that one’s home can match the way they dress. For me, menswear has been an inspiration in many of my designs. Bold, structured looks, high contrast color and pattern, and strong silhouettes transition from the runway to our projects in the form of furniture, fabrics, art and architecture.

As New York Fashion Week approaches, we’re celebrating five of my favorite menswear designers, and translating their fashion looks to attainable items for your home. Many have already crossed over into home products, and all have distinct approaches to interiors all their own.  From the traditional elegance of Ralph Lauren, to the surprisingly colorful and spirited tailoring of Paul Smith, we’ve got items to layer on your traditional looks. California casual James Perse and architecturally-minded (and trained) Thom Brown provide tight palette neutrals for both shaken out and avant garde inspiration, and the layered look of Todd Snyder is interpreted as a mix of found and collected finds.

Think of your interiors as an outfit: whether you start with a white T-shirt and jeans and layer on accessories, or go bold in your look from head to toe, your home is always an expression of who you are, and who you want to be.
